But don't Envoys have air suspension?

I feel like when I can tell a car by the air vents, there's a problem.

I remember a post some time ago about some guy that slammed his lancer buy carring around 2000lbs of sand in bags.

When loaded, air suspensions bring your car on the floor too... I had to drive a Dodge Grand Caravan filled with hundreds on skateboards very often when working in Canada and the thing was pretty much slammed also lol...

I think this is an Envoy, which is a BOF SUV.

I did it again about a month later, with even more bricks. No pictures of it in the truck, but I just went outside and took this one

Kinja'd!!!

Notice how the stack on the left is way bigger (and none of them have holes)?
Not counting the ones that aren't full size (over on the right), there were something like 415 bricks that time. My poor truck.

(I wish I had a picture from the second time, I wanted to reply with "thats not a ton of bricks, this is a ton of bricks" :P)

Yeah, this is about how compression I had (all of it) and how much travel was left (none of it). These were massive pavers, probably over half a ton each trip. I didn't dare calculate it beforehand but afterward I feel it was appropriate for a 1-ton truck chassis.

Whatever was left my local Mormons helped me stash behind my garage. Still recovering from moving all this.

2005 Envoy, not bad.

A standard brick weighs between 4 and 5 pounds. ~415 * 5 lbs = 2060lbs
My ranger's payload is something like 1400lbs (can't find the exact number online right now, too lazy to go check the truck). Which doesn't include me driving it, and all the other crap that lives in my truck (probably another 300lbs total). So, 900-ish lbs over loaded?

I iz dumb

Everyone spotted it as Envoy, which is crazy. Don't know if I could have done the same. Anyway. RIP MIDSIZE GMC BOF SUV. It just doesn't exist anymore. And yet the Envoy seemed to sell so well—I see them all the time.

I shoulda. Was in a hurry to dump these things at my brother's place before sundown. I can tell you this: it didn't look all that much different in the wheel well. But with the back end open the bumper was down to my shins and the tailgate wanted to smash my face. It did make me a little nervous.

My parents had a Trailblazer that I drove before I got my 4Runner. I miss it. Mainly the engine, but I miss the comfort and power.
